Edwin Snapper founded Veracity Financial Planning in 2009 after years of seeing clients receive advice that was limited by provider panels and driven by product sales. He believed there was a better way — independent advice, delivered with clarity and built around the client's actual needs.
The name Veracity means truthfulness and accuracy, and it reflects everything the firm stands for. From day one, the mission has been to cut through the complexity of financial services and give clients the clear, honest guidance they need to make confident decisions.
Starting from a single office in Woodthorpe, Nottingham, the firm has grown to a team of fourteen advisers and support staff, serving clients across Nottinghamshire, the wider East Midlands, and beyond — including a presence in Norfolk. The team includes Chartered Financial Planners, specialist mortgage advisers, equity release experts, and corporate finance professionals.
Despite the growth, the approach hasn't changed. Every client gets a dedicated adviser, a bespoke plan, and ongoing support to keep that plan on track. Whether you're planning for retirement, buying your first home, or protecting your family — Veracity is here to help you do it with confidence.
